Work Study Policies and ProceduresInstitutional policies for Federal Work-Study Program allows eligible work-study students to obtain a position of their choice. Each academic year all eligible work-study students must apply for work-study positions on the web by viewing the job openings and completing an on-line application starting August 1. Students may earn up to amount awarded on award letter and are paid by check twice a month. The amount of each check will be based on the number of hours the student worked within the pay period. To Apply: Students who meet the above criteria should log in to view and apply for available work study positions beginning August 16, 2010. Students may apply to multiple positions, but may only accept one. The number of positions are limited and positions are competitive; therefore,work-study positions are not guaranteed. Career Services Counselors are available to assist you in: determining the position that is the best fit, assistance with completing applications, and preparing for an interview.
